CIE Automotive India Limited Reports Q2 FY27 Consolidated Revenue of ₹2,540 Crore, EBITDA Up 17% YoY

CIE Automotive India Limited has released the transcript of its Q2 FY27 earnings conference call, highlighting resilient financial and operational performance despite margin pressures in its domestic business arising from higher input costs. The company delivered double-digit growth in consolidated revenue, EBITDA, and earnings before tax, supported by robust demand in India and improved profitability in its European operations.

Q2 CY26 Financial Highlights

For the quarter ended June 2026, CIE Automotive India reported consolidated revenue of ₹2,540 crore, registering an 11% year-on-year (YoY) growth.

Consolidated EBITDA increased 17% YoY to ₹420 crore, while Earnings Before Tax (EBT) rose 15% YoY to ₹310 crore, reflecting strong operational execution and improved profitability across key markets.

India Business Continues to Drive Growth

The company’s India operations remained the primary growth engine, with revenue rising 13% YoY to ₹1,650 crore, supported by healthy demand from the domestic automotive sector.

However, EBITDA margin for the India business moderated to 16.7%, compared with 17.5% in the corresponding quarter last year. The decline was primarily due to higher energy and raw material costs triggered by ongoing geopolitical tensions in West Asia. Despite these headwinds, India EBITDA increased 9% YoY, demonstrating the resilience of the company’s operations.

Europe Delivers Significant Margin Improvement

The European business reported revenue of ₹890 crore, representing 7% YoY growth in Indian rupee terms. On a constant currency basis, however, revenue declined 6% YoY, reflecting weaker market conditions in Europe.

Despite softer demand, restructuring initiatives implemented over the past year significantly improved operational efficiency. As a result, European EBITDA margin expanded to 15.9%, compared with 12.5% in Q2 CY25, while European EBITDA surged 36% YoY.
