CleanMax Powers India’s Green Transition with Record 530 MW Q1 FY27 Commissioning, Operational Portfolio Soars to 4.2 GW
India’s renewable energy sector continues to witness strong momentum, and Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited (CleanMax) has started FY27 on a record-breaking note. The company has announced its highest-ever quarterly commissioning performance, adding around 530 MW of renewable energy capacity during the first quarter of FY27.
With this milestone, CleanMax has expanded its operational renewable energy portfolio to approximately 4.2 GW, up from nearly 3.6 GW at the end of March 2026. The achievement reflects the growing demand for clean energy solutions among commercial and industrial (C&I) businesses across India.
Operational Portfolio Crosses 4.2 GW
The record commissioning was achieved through projects spread across 11 locations in five states, demonstrating the company’s ability to execute large-scale renewable energy projects within a short period.
Among the states contributing the most to this expansion were:
- Gujarat: Approximately 170 MW
- Karnataka: Approximately 160 MW
- Maharashtra: Approximately 110 MW
- Additional projects were also commissioned in Haryana and Chhattisgarh.
The latest additions have further strengthened CleanMax’s position as one of India’s leading renewable energy providers for commercial and industrial customers.
Renewable Energy Capacity Added in Q1 FY27
During the quarter, the company commissioned renewable energy projects across different business segments.
Renewable Energy Power Sales
- Around 350 MWp of solar capacity
- Around 53 MW of wind capacity
- Total addition: 403 MW
Renewable Energy Services
- Around 126 MWp of solar capacity
Combined, these projects contributed nearly 530 MW of new renewable energy capacity during the quarter.
Rising Demand from Commercial and Industrial Customers
The strong quarterly performance highlights the increasing adoption of renewable energy by businesses seeking to reduce energy costs and meet sustainability commitments.
Commenting on the milestone, Kuldeep Jain, Founder and Managing Director of CleanMax, said that commissioning more than 500 MW in a single quarter reflects the growing demand from commercial and industrial customers across India.
