DCB Bank Posts 35.57% PAT Growth in Q1 FY27, Total Business Crosses ₹1,34,000 Crore

DCB Bank Limited has released its investor presentation for Q1 FY27 (quarter ended June 30, 2026), pointing to strong profitability growth, continued balance sheet expansion, and a marked improvement in asset quality.

The private sector lender’s Profit After Tax rose 35.57% year-on-year to ₹213 crore for the quarter, while total business crossed the ₹1,34,000 crore mark, driven by steady growth across its core retail, micro-SME, and agriculture lending books.

Key Financial Highlights (Q1 FY27 vs Q1 FY26)

Advances grew 17.06% YoY to ₹59,951 crore, helped by a 23% jump in the Agri and Inclusive Banking (AIB) book and 7% growth in retail mortgages. Deposits rose 20.06% YoY to ₹74,482 crore, with savings account deposits up 12.66% YoY, taking the CASA ratio to 21.65%.

The bank’s overall balance sheet expanded 14.67% YoY to ₹88,752 crore, while core fee income came in at a healthy ₹175 crore for the quarter.

Asset Quality and Capital Strength

Credit metrics improved meaningfully during the quarter. Gross NPA eased to 2.43% from 2.98% a year earlier, while Net NPA fell more sharply to 0.84% from 1.22% in Q1 FY26.

The Provision Coverage Ratio strengthened to 79.81%, up from 74.04% in the year-ago quarter, and credit cost stayed low at 0.26%. Capital Adequacy Ratio stood at a comfortable 17.03%, against 16.66% in Q1 FY26 — well above regulatory minimums.

With 480 branches across India, DCB Bank said it will continue investing in front-line operational efficiency and secure, small-ticket lending to support long-term, sustainable growth.
