Eris Lifesciences Limited has reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), driven by healthy growth in its domestic branded formulations business, expanding insulin franchise, and continued leadership in the GLP-1 therapy segment.

The company posted double-digit growth in revenue and profitability while strengthening its position in India’s chronic therapy market through product expansion and market share gains.

Q1 FY27 Financial Highlights

Eris Lifesciences delivered solid growth across its key financial metrics during the first quarter of FY27.

  • Profit After Tax (PAT): Rose 14.5% YoY to ₹143 crore, up from ₹125 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
  • EBITDA: Grew 7% YoY to ₹296 crore, compared with ₹277 crore in Q1 FY26.

The strong performance underscores Eris’ continued focus on chronic and specialty therapies, which remain key contributors to long-term growth.

Highlights include:

  • Insulin Portfolio Revenue: ₹412 crore, representing 26.4% YoY growth.

Leadership in the GLP-1 Segment

The company continued to strengthen its position in the fast-growing GLP-1 diabetes therapy market.

Its generic semaglutide brand Suvenda emerged as:

  • No. 1 in prescription market share (approximately 21%).
  • No. 1 in unit sales (approximately 20%).

During its first full quarter in the market, the brand generated ₹12 crore in revenue within an estimated ₹88 crore generic semaglutide market, reflecting strong physician acceptance and market penetration.

International Business

The company also stated that Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) are progressing across its European manufacturing facilities, with the objective of achieving regulatory audit readiness by December 2026.
