Hyundai Motor India Limited achieved its highest-ever monthly sales since inception in July 2026, delivering a record 75,360 units across domestic and export markets. The milestone represents a 25.4% year-on-year (YoY) increase, supported by strong demand for its SUV portfolio and a sharp recovery in export volumes.

July 2026 Sales Highlights

  • Total Sales (Domestic + Exports): 75,360 units, up 25.4% YoY, marking the company’s highest-ever monthly sales.
  • Domestic Sales: 54,210 units, registering a 23.3% YoY increase and setting a new record for the month of July.
  • Exports: 21,150 units, up 31.4% YoY, the highest monthly export volume recorded by the company in more than 100 months.

Strong Demand for Key Models

Hyundai’s popular models continued to drive growth during the month:

  • Hyundai CRETA: Achieved its highest monthly sales of calendar year 2026, with 18,088 units sold.
  • Hyundai i20: Recorded its best monthly performance in CY2026, delivering 6,738 units.

Management Commentary

Commenting on the record-breaking performance, Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor India Limited, said the company’s highest-ever monthly sales reflect the strong confidence customers continue to place in the Hyundai brand. He also noted that exports crossing 21,000 units reinforce Hyundai’s “Make in India, Made for the World” strategy and demonstrate the growing global acceptance of vehicles manufactured in India.
