Imagicaaworld Entertainment Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Growth with 22% Increase in Footfalls

July 23, 2026: Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited, one of India’s leading amusement and water park operators, reported a strong operational performance during the first quarter of FY27. The company’s latest business update highlights healthy growth in visitor footfalls, steady hotel occupancy, and continued progress on its expansion strategy despite challenging weather conditions during the summer season.

The company continued to focus on increasing visitor engagement while pursuing asset-light expansion opportunities to strengthen its presence in the family entertainment and hospitality sectors.

Visitor Footfalls Grow 22%

Imagicaaworld recorded 11.54 lakh visitors across its parks during Q1 FY27, representing a 22% year-on-year increase compared with 9.46 lakh visitors in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The strong growth reflects continued demand for leisure and entertainment destinations, supported by school vacations, family travel, and improving consumer spending.

Novotel Imagicaa Maintains Healthy Occupancy

The company’s hospitality business also delivered a stable performance during the quarter.

Novotel Imagicaa reported an average occupancy of 63%, benefiting from:

  • School holiday travel
  • Destination weddings
  • Corporate events
  • Park visitors choosing on-site accommodation

The hotel continues to complement the company’s integrated entertainment destination strategy by enhancing the overall visitor experience.

Asset-Light Expansion Strategy Gains Momentum

Imagicaaworld is continuing its expansion through an asset-light business model, enabling the company to grow its footprint with relatively lower capital investment.

Gujarat Water Park Expansion

The company is in the final stages of completing a transaction involving Shankus Water Park in Gujarat.

Under the proposed arrangement, Imagicaaworld will:

  • Expand the park’s attractions
  • Manage operations and maintenance (O&M)
  • Earn recurring management fees

The initiative is expected to strengthen the company’s presence in western India while generating an additional revenue stream.

Hello Park Expansion Continues

Imagicaaworld is also expanding its indoor family entertainment concept through its subsidiary Malpani Parks Indore Private Limited.

Second Hello Park Planned

The company has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for its second Hello Park, which will be located at Phoenix Mall’s upcoming development in Surat, Gujarat.

The new facility will cover approximately 9,000 square feet and is expected to expand the company’s presence in the growing indoor entertainment segment.

Hyderabad Project on Track

Construction of the first Hello Park in Hyderabad is progressing as planned.

The company expects commercial operations to commence during Q3 FY27, further strengthening its portfolio of family entertainment destinations.

Limited Impact from Water Park Closure

During the quarter, Imagicaaworld Water Park experienced a temporary closure due to water withdrawal restrictions.

However, the company stated that the estimated revenue impact was limited to approximately ₹50 lakh, as the closure occurred after the peak operating season.

Focus on Sustainable Growth

Imagicaaworld continues to focus on:

  • Increasing visitor footfalls
  • Expanding its entertainment offerings
  • Growing through asset-light partnerships
  • Enhancing hospitality operations
  • Building recurring revenue streams

These initiatives are aimed at improving profitability while strengthening the company’s position in India’s growing leisure and entertainment industry.
