IndiaMART InterMESH Limited has released the transcript of its Q1 FY27 earnings conference call, highlighting its financial performance, operational developments, and strategic initiatives for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The leading B2B online marketplace reported steady growth in revenue and collections while continuing to invest in AI-driven automation and trust-enhancing features across its platform.
Q1 FY27 Financial Highlights
IndiaMART delivered consistent growth across key financial metrics during the quarter.
Key Consolidated Performance
- Revenue from Operations: ₹414 crore, up 11% YoY
- Customer Collections: ₹463 crore, an increase of 8% YoY
- Deferred Revenue: ₹2,014 crore, growing 16% YoY
- Business Inquiries: Over 26 million unique business inquiries generated during the quarter
The company’s growing deferred revenue reflects healthy customer renewals and strong visibility into future revenue streams.
Paying Supplier Base Sees Temporary Decline
IndiaMART’s paying supplier base stood at 218,000 at the end of Q1 FY27, representing a net decline of 1,850 suppliers during the quarter.
Management attributed the decline primarily to:
- Lower gross customer additions
- Higher churn in the Silver subscription category
Despite this, the company’s premium customer segments remained resilient. Gold and Platinum subscribers, which account for nearly 50% of the paying supplier base and contribute more than 75% of total revenue, continued to demonstrate strong renewal rates and successful upselling.
AI Adoption and Trust Initiatives Strengthen the Platform
IndiaMART continued expanding its artificial intelligence capabilities to improve marketplace efficiency and customer experience.
Key AI-driven initiatives include:
- Standardized product cataloguing
- Automated buyer-supplier matchmaking
- An agentic AI-powered call handling system capable of autonomously managing more than 100,000 customer calls daily
To further strengthen buyer confidence, the company also introduced:
- A multi-layer supplier verification framework
- A Buyer Payment Protection Program for transactions conducted with TrustSEAL-verified suppliers
These initiatives are aimed at enhancing trust, improving transaction quality, and increasing conversion rates on the platform.
