NIIT Limited Reports 14% Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27, Driven by Enterprise AI Training and Consumer Learning

NIIT Limited (NSE: NIITLTD | BSE: 500304) has released the transcript of its earnings conference call for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), reporting a strong start to the financial year. The company delivered double-digit revenue growth, supported by robust demand for enterprise technology training, artificial intelligence (AI) upskilling programs, and continued momentum in its consumer learning business.
Q1 FY27 Financial Highlights
NIIT reported healthy growth across its key financial metrics during the quarter.
- Total Revenue: ₹957 million (₹95.7 crore), up 14% year-on-year (YoY).
- Order Intake: ₹953 million, reflecting sustained demand for AI-driven learning and enterprise training solutions.
- Enterprise Segment Revenue: ₹618 million, an increase of 8% YoY.
- Consumer Segment Revenue: ₹339 million, growing 27% YoY.
Enterprise Business Supported by AI Upskilling
The Enterprise Learning business continued to benefit from increasing investments by organizations in workforce reskilling and AI adoption.
Enterprise technology training revenue increased 16% YoY to ₹498 million, driven by higher demand for AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation programs as companies accelerated employee upskilling initiatives.
Consumer Business Maintains Strong Growth
The Consumer Learning segment delivered another strong quarter, with revenue rising 27% YoY to ₹339 million.
Technology training for individual learners contributed ₹182 million, representing 15% year-on-year growth, while university partnerships and other education initiatives continued to expand, helping diversify the company’s revenue base.
As a result, the company’s revenue mix shifted to 65% Enterprise and 35% Consumer, compared with 68% and 32%, respectively, in the corresponding quarter last year.
Technology Training Remains the Largest Revenue Contributor
Technology-focused training remained NIIT’s largest business line.
- Technology Training Revenue: ₹680 million, up 16% YoY.
- FSI and Other Programs: ₹277 million, reflecting 9% YoY growth.
Management noted that demand from banking and financial services clients improved during the quarter as hiring activity picked up among partner institutions.
