Shadowfax Reports Record Q1 FY27 Performance as Revenue Surges 65% and Profit Jumps Over 7x

Shadowfax Technologies Limited delivered a record-breaking performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), posting its strongest financial results to date. Driven by robust order growth, operational efficiencies, and continued expansion across its logistics network, the company reported a 64.9% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue and an impressive 715.9% jump in net profit.

The logistics major recorded revenue from operations of ₹1,358 crore, compared with ₹824 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. This also represents a 9.8% sequential (QoQ) growth, marking the fifth consecutive quarter of more than 60% YoY revenue growth, underscoring the company’s sustained momentum.

Record Profitability

Shadowfax’s profitability improved significantly during the quarter. Net profit (PAT) climbed to an all-time high of ₹65 crore, compared to ₹8 crore in Q1 FY26, reflecting a remarkable 715.9% year-on-year increase and 17.2% growth over the previous quarter.

The company’s PAT margin expanded by 380 basis points to 4.8%, highlighting improved operational leverage and disciplined cost management despite inflationary pressures.

Strong Growth Across Business Segments

The company’s growth was broad-based across its key business verticals.

  • Express Parcel revenue surged 87.3% YoY and 7.9% QoQ, driven by higher shipment volumes and increasing demand from e-commerce customers.
  • Hyperlocal (Hyperfocal) logistics revenue increased 53.0% YoY and 17.0% QoQ, reflecting continued expansion in quick-commerce and same-day delivery services.

Despite rising fuel prices and higher employee costs, Shadowfax successfully improved operating margins through better network optimization, automation, and economies of scale.

₹60 Crore Invested to Expand Logistics Network

To support future growth, Shadowfax invested approximately ₹60 crore in capital expenditure (Capex) during the quarter.

The investment was primarily directed towards:

  • Automating high-volume sortation centers
  • Expanding last-mile delivery infrastructure
  • Increasing warehousing and operating space
  • Enhancing technology and operational efficiency

Following these investments, the company’s logistics network now spans over 53 lakh square feet across 5,095 operational touchpoints, serving 16,372 PIN codes across India.
