EV Segment Continues to Lead Growth

The electric vehicle business emerged as the standout performer during the month, with sales more than doubling compared to the previous year. EV sales rose 114% YoY to 15,217 units, underlining the growing consumer adoption of electric mobility and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles’ leadership in India’s EV market.

The company’s expanding portfolio of electric vehicles, continued investments in technology, and increasing charging infrastructure have helped sustain strong demand in the segment.

Strong Performance Across Domestic and International Markets

Domestic passenger vehicle sales increased 58% YoY to 62,611 units, reflecting healthy demand across the company’s product portfolio. Meanwhile, the International Business (IB) delivered an impressive 76% YoY growth, with exports rising to 1,149 units.

The broad-based growth across domestic and overseas markets contributed to the company’s highest July sales performance in recent years.

Corporate Update

The company noted that its legal name was changed from Tata Motors Limited to Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited with effect from October 13, 2025, following the approval of a Composite Scheme of Arrangement by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench.
