Tata Power and IndusInd Bank Partner to Empower Small Businesses with Solar Financing

Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. (TPREL) has partnered with IndusInd Bank to provide financing for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) interested in adopting solar power systems. This collaboration allows MSEs to access collateral-free loans ranging from ₹10 lakh to ₹2 crore, depending on credit approval, and requires a 20% margin. Loan tenures extend up to seven years with competitive interest rates, making it easier for small businesses to transition to solar energy and cut operational costs.

The initiative aligns with Tata Power’s commitment to supporting India’s renewable energy goals and promoting sustainable practices among businesses. The collaboration reflects a growing trend in which Indian financial institutions partner with renewable energy providers to support solar adoption among both commercial and residential sector
