Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) has been honoured with six awards at the 12th National Awards for Manufacturing Competitiveness (NAMC), organised by the International Research Institute for Manufacturing (IRIM). The recognitions underscore the company’s excellence in manufacturing, digital transformation, operational efficiency, and sustainable production practices across its key manufacturing facilities.

Hisar Unit
Jindal Stainless’ Hisar plant emerged as one of the top-performing manufacturing facilities in the country by securing:
- Gold Medal under the AatmaNirbhar Factory Recognition Programme (AFRP) for the fourth consecutive year.
- AatmaNirbhar Nation Builder Award.
- Diamond Medal for the second consecutive year.
- Second Runner-Up position in the overall national NAMC rankings.
Jajpur Unit
The company’s Jajpur manufacturing facility received:
- Silver Medal under the AatmaNirbhar Factory Recognition Programme (AFRP).
- AatmaNirbhar Factory Recognition, highlighting its strong performance in operational excellence and lean manufacturing practices.
The awards were presented following comprehensive on-site assessments based on IRIM’s 10 Manufacturing Competitiveness Indicators, with 170 manufacturing units from across India participating in the evaluation.
