Aurionpro Solutions Q1 FY27: Strong Order Book, AI Investments, and Growth Expected in Second Half
Aurionpro Solutions Limited shared an optimistic outlook during its Q1 FY27 earnings conference call, highlighting a strong order book, continued investments in AI-powered banking software, and confidence in stronger business performance during the second half of FY27.
While the company did not provide formal revenue or margin guidance, management said demand remains healthy across its key business segments, with the focus now shifting to faster project execution and converting its order book into revenue.
Focus on Building the Next Generation of Banking Software
One of the biggest themes of the earnings call was Aurionpro’s investment in what it calls “Banking Software 2.0.”
Managing Director and CEO Ashish Rai said the banking industry is moving towards AI-driven software that can automate workflows while allowing banks to maintain full control and governance. The company is investing in developing this next-generation platform, believing it will create long-term growth opportunities.
Management noted that similar investments made a few years ago in its transaction banking platform resulted in strong market success, and it expects the current AI-focused development to deliver similar benefits in the future.
No Slowdown in Sales Activity
During the interaction with analysts, investors raised concerns about whether Aurionpro’s increased focus on research and development could affect sales growth.
The management clarified that the company has not slowed its sales efforts. According to Ashish Rai, Aurionpro continues to win more business than it loses and enjoys a market win rate of over 50% in several banking software markets where it operates.
He explained that the current priority is balancing customer project delivery with investment in future technologies rather than reducing sales activity.
AI Expected to Improve Productivity
Aurionpro believes Artificial Intelligence will significantly improve software development productivity over the next few quarters.
Instead of rapidly increasing its workforce, the company plans to leverage AI tools to enhance developer efficiency. Management expects these productivity gains to offset temporary resource allocation towards research and development while maintaining its ability to execute customer projects.
Growth Expected to Accelerate in H2 FY27
Although the company refrained from issuing financial guidance for FY27, management expressed confidence that business momentum would improve during the second half of the financial year.
Aurionpro noted that project execution typically accelerates during the third and fourth quarters, which generally results in stronger revenue recognition later in the year.
The company said its immediate priority is improving execution efficiency so that existing orders are converted into revenue more quickly.
Strong Focus on Cash Flow
Another major priority for FY27 is improving cash generation.
Management said it is working on:
- Faster execution of existing projects
- Better conversion of revenue into cash
- Improved operational efficiency
- Disciplined capital allocation
The company also stated that it does not plan to undertake any major acquisitions in the near future. With acquisition spending expected to reduce and R&D investments stabilizing, management believes cash flow should improve as the year progresses.
Growth Across Multiple Business Segments
Aurionpro remains positive about demand across its major business verticals.
According to management:
- Banking solutions are expected to continue growing.
- Transit technology business remains on track for expansion.
- Data centre projects will contribute to revenue over multiple years.
- AI-driven software products are expected to become an important growth driver in the future.
Management Outlook
Closing the earnings call, CEO Ashish Rai said customer demand remains strong, as reflected in the company’s order book and sales pipeline. While execution remains the key focus area, the company is confident that improving project delivery and revenue conversion will support stronger performance over the coming quarters.
Management said it will continue to focus on operational discipline, AI-led innovation, and timely execution throughout FY27.
