The expansion involves the addition of more than 200 beds through the development of Tower IV at the Gurugram hospital. The new facility will focus on expanding the hospital’s capabilities in:

  • Quaternary pediatric care

  • Maternal-fetal medicine
  • Reproductive medicine
  • Gynecologic oncology
  • Urogynecology
  • Comprehensive women’s wellness services

The company said the expansion is aimed at meeting the increasing demand for specialized healthcare services across the Delhi-NCR region.

Project Timeline and Investment

Artemis Medicare expects to complete the capacity addition within approximately two years.

Key project details:

  • Capacity Addition: 200+ beds
  • Estimated Investment: ₹160–180 crore
  • Completion Timeline: Around 2 years
  • Funding: Internal accruals and debt financing

Existing Capacity

Currently, Artemis Medicare operates:

  • Around 800 beds across its hospitals, primarily in the Delhi-NCR region.
  • Around 300 beds in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Additionally, the company is developing Vimhans Artemis Hospital in Nehru Nagar, New Delhi, which is planned to have 650+ beds in a phased manner and is expected to commence operations by FY29.

According to the company, the new Tower IV will significantly enhance the Gurugram hospital’s ability to deliver advanced pediatric and women’s healthcare services. The additional capacity is expected to help Artemis cater to rising patient demand in the region while supporting its long-term revenue growth and strengthening its position in high-end tertiary and quaternary healthcare.
