Arkade Developers Adds 4 Redevelopment Projects in Western Mumbai, Eyes ₹5,000 Crore Turnover Potential

Arkade Developers Limited has strengthened its redevelopment pipeline in Mumbai with the addition of four new cluster redevelopment projects across key micro-markets in the western suburbs. The company announced the development on August 19, 2026, stating that the projects collectively have a projected turnover potential of around ₹5,000 crore.

The new projects span approximately 45,204 sq. metres (11.17 acres) across Malad West, Kandivali West, Kandivali East and Borivali West. Together, they are expected to generate approximately 15 lakh sq. ft. of saleable carpet area, further expanding Arkade Developers’ presence in established residential markets of Western Mumbai.

Four New Redevelopment Projects

The newly added projects include developments in Ashok Nagar, Kandivali East; Shankar Lane, Kandivali West; Malad West; and Yogi Nagar – Plot B, Borivali West.

The two projects at Ashok Nagar and Shankar Lane together cover approximately 12,611.5 sq. metres of plot area. They are expected to provide around 3.5 lakh sq. ft. of saleable carpet area and have an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹1,100 crore.

The Malad West redevelopment project covers approximately 8,428 sq. metres and is expected to have a saleable carpet area of around 2.5 lakh sq. ft. The project carries a projected turnover potential of approximately ₹900 crore.

The largest project among the four is the Yogi Nagar – Plot B cluster redevelopment in Borivali West. Spread across approximately 24,165 sq. metres, the project is expected to offer around 9 lakh sq. ft. of saleable carpet area and has a potential turnover of approximately ₹3,000 crore.

51 Lakh Sq. Ft. Construction Area

Collectively, the four redevelopment projects have an estimated construction area of approximately 51 lakh sq. ft., highlighting the scale of Arkade Developers’ expanding redevelopment portfolio.

The company said the additions strengthen its development pipeline across some of Mumbai’s established residential micro-markets and reinforce its focus on redevelopment-led growth.

Redevelopment Remains a Key Growth Area

Commenting on the company’s 2026 vision, Amit Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of Arkade Developers, said redevelopment remains an important part of Mumbai’s real estate growth journey and a core strength of the company.

He also highlighted the changing dynamics of the real estate sector, driven by urbanisation, technology and evolving consumer preferences.

The company pointed to its recent milestone at Arkade Eden in Malad West, where it received the Occupancy Certificate nine months ahead of the committed RERA date, as an example of its focus on timely project execution.

Arkade Developers’ Existing Portfolio

Arkade Developers has a real estate development track record spanning more than 40 years. According to the company, it has completed 32 projects and developed more than 5.5 million sq. ft. of property, with more than 2 million sq. ft. currently under development.

The company has delivered homes to more than 5,500 families and is listed on both the BSE and NSE.

What the New Projects Mean for Arkade Developers

The addition of these four projects provides Arkade Developers with a sizeable new redevelopment opportunity in Western Mumbai. With approximately 15 lakh sq. ft. of projected saleable carpet area and ₹5,000 crore of potential turnover, the projects could become an important contributor to the company’s future development pipeline as they progress through approvals, construction and sales.

For investors, key factors to monitor will include project approvals, launch timelines, sales velocity, execution progress and conversion of the projected turnover potential into actual revenue and cash flows.
