Ceigall India JV Wins ₹274.08 Crore Arunachal Pradesh Highway EPC Order

Ceigall India Limited has announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) for a road construction project in Arunachal Pradesh. The company received the LOA through email on August 18, 2026, according to its regulatory filing dated August 19, 2026.

The project has been secured jointly by Ceigall India Limited (CIL) and Rajinder Infrastructure Private Limited (RIPL) through a joint venture, in which Ceigall India holds a 70% share and RIPL holds the remaining 30%.

₹274.08 Crore Road Construction Project

The project involves the construction of a road from km 17.812 to km 55.377 (Package-2) of the Bile-Migging section of NH913, also known as the Frontier Highway, in Arunachal Pradesh.

The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode.

The disclosed bid cost for the project is ₹274.08 crore, excluding GST.

Based on the JV’s 70% share, Ceigall India’s proportionate share of the bid value works out to approximately ₹191.86 crore, excluding GST, assuming the project value is allocated according to the stated JV ownership ratio.

Key Details of the Order

According to the company’s exchange filing, the major details are:

  • Awarding authority: Ministry of Road Transport & Highways
  • Project: Construction of NH913 Frontier Highway, Bile-Migging section, Package-2
  • Location: Arunachal Pradesh
  • Contract mode: Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)
  • Bid cost: ₹274.08 crore, excluding GST
  • Ceigall India JV share: 70%
  • JV partner: Rajinder Infrastructure Private Limited
  • Construction period: 48 months
  • Maintenance period: 5 years
  • Order type: Domestic
  • Promoter interest in awarding entity: No
  • Related-party transaction: No

Project Execution Timeline

The construction portion of the contract has an execution period of 48 months, or four years.

Following completion of the construction period, the project also includes a five-year maintenance period. This gives the project a significant overall contractual engagement period for the joint venture.

Why the Order Matters for Ceigall India

The new MoRTH project adds to Ceigall India’s order pipeline in the roads and highways segment. Government infrastructure spending, particularly on highways and connectivity projects in strategically important regions such as the Northeast, can provide long-term opportunities for EPC and road construction companies.

The Arunachal Pradesh project is also part of NH913, the Frontier Highway, making it strategically important from a connectivity perspective.

For Ceigall India, the project provides another opportunity to strengthen its presence in major highway construction projects awarded by the central government.

What Investors Should Watch

While the announcement is positive from an order-book perspective, investors should note that the disclosed ₹274.08 crore is the JV’s total bid cost, rather than Ceigall India’s standalone order value.

With Ceigall India holding a 70% stake in the JV, its economic share is approximately ₹191.86 crore, excluding GST, subject to the final contractual and accounting treatment.

Investors should also monitor the pace of project execution, order inflows, margins and the company’s overall order book to assess the longer-term financial impact.

Bottom Line

Ceigall India Limited, through a 70:30 joint venture with Rajinder Infrastructure Private Limited, has received an LOA from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways for a ₹274.08 crore EPC road project in Arunachal Pradesh.

The project covers construction of a section of NH913 Frontier Highway between km 17.812 and km 55.377 and carries a 48-month construction period followed by five years of maintenance.

The order strengthens Ceigall India’s exposure to the road and highway construction sector and adds another government infrastructure project to its portfolio. However, the company’s proportionate share of the disclosed bid value is approximately ₹191.86 crore, rather than the full ₹274.08 crore.
