Advait Energy Transitions Bags ₹134.62 Crore MPPTCL Order for Emergency Restoration Systems

Advait Energy Transitions Limited has secured a major order worth approximately ₹134.62 crore, including taxes, from Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MPPTCL) for the design, manufacturing and supply of Emergency Restoration Systems (ERS) for extra-high-voltage transmission lines.

The company, formerly known as Advait Infratech Limited, informed the stock exchanges on August 25, 2026, that the order was received in the normal course of business against Tender .

₹134.62 Crore Turnkey Contract from MPPTCL

The order is a turnkey contract covering the complete design, manufacturing and supply of Emergency Restoration Systems suitable for 400kV, 220kV and 132kV EHV transmission lines.

The contract has a total value of ₹1,34,62,48,481.92, including taxes, or approximately ₹134.62 crore.

The project is scheduled to be executed within 18 months.

What Is an Emergency Restoration System?

An Emergency Restoration System, or ERS, is designed to help power transmission utilities quickly restore electricity transmission following damage or failure of transmission towers and lines.

Such systems can be particularly important during natural disasters, accidents or other events that damage critical transmission infrastructure. Rapid restoration can help reduce the duration of power outages and improve the resilience of the electricity transmission network.

For Advait Energy Transitions, the order provides an opportunity to participate in the growing requirement for reliable and resilient transmission infrastructure.

Order Covers 400kV, 220kV and 132kV Transmission Lines

Under the contract, Advait Energy Transitions will provide ERS solutions suitable for three important voltage classes:

  • 400kV EHV transmission lines
  • 220kV transmission lines
  • 132kV transmission lines

The scope includes the required accessories as part of the turnkey contract, covering the design, manufacturing and supply requirements specified by MPPTCL.

Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company as Customer

The order has been awarded by Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MPPTCL), the state transmission utility responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of Madhya Pradesh’s electricity transmission network.

Winning a contract from a state transmission utility provides Advait Energy Transitions with exposure to the public-sector power transmission market and could support its credentials for similar tenders in the future.

18-Month Execution Period

The project carries an execution period of 18 months. This gives the company a multi-quarter revenue opportunity as the order progresses through design, manufacturing and supply stages.

Investors will therefore be watching the company’s execution pace, working-capital requirements and margins associated with the project.

The turnkey nature of the contract also gives the company responsibility across multiple stages, including design, manufacturing, and supply.

Point to consider

Advait Energy Transitions’ ₹134.62 crore MPPTCL order is a notable development for the company, particularly because it involves critical transmission infrastructure covering 400kV, 220kV and 132kV EHV lines.
