mtartech order

MTAR Technologies Limited (NSE: MTARTECH, BSE: 543270) has secured purchase orders worth ₹126.74 crore from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), strengthening its position in India’s civil nuclear power sector.

The company informed the stock exchanges on August 26, 2026, that it has received the orders for the supply of coolant channel assemblies for the refurbishment of the RAPS-4 and MAPS-2 reactors. The orders have been awarded by NPCIL and are part of MTAR Technologies’ regular business with its existing customer.

₹126.74 Crore Order from NPCIL

The newly secured purchase orders have a total value of ₹126.74 crore and are domestic orders. The execution of the orders is scheduled to be completed by May 26, 2028.

The orders relate to the civil nuclear power sector and involve the supply of coolant channel assemblies required for reactor refurbishment. The latest win further expands MTAR Technologies’ nuclear-sector order pipeline and provides revenue visibility over the coming years.

Nuclear Order Book Crosses ₹775 Crore

Commenting on the development, Parvat Srinivas Reddy, Managing Director of MTAR Technologies, said the company has secured significant orders in the civil nuclear sector over the past few months.

Following the latest order win, MTAR Technologies’ closing nuclear order book has crossed ₹775 crore, which the company described as the highest in its history. The management also highlighted the long-term potential of the civil nuclear sector and expects a steady flow of orders over the coming years.

The growing nuclear order book is an important development for MTAR Technologies as India continues to focus on expanding its nuclear power generation capacity and strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities across the nuclear supply chain.

Existing Customer Relationship with NPCIL

The ₹126.74 crore purchase orders have been awarded by Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), an existing customer of MTAR Technologies. The company stated that the orders are a continuation of its regular business relationship with the customer.

MTAR Technologies also clarified that there is no interest of the promoter, promoter group or group companies in the entity awarding the orders. Further, the orders do not fall under related-party transactions.

Why the Order Matters for MTAR Technologies

The latest order win is significant for MTAR Technologies for several reasons. First, it increases the company’s visibility in the civil nuclear sector, where long-term projects can provide a relatively extended revenue pipeline. Second, the increase in the nuclear order book to more than ₹775 crore indicates strong demand for the company’s specialised manufacturing capabilities.

The orders for reactor refurbishment also highlight the potential opportunity arising from the maintenance, refurbishment and life-extension requirements of India’s existing nuclear power infrastructure, alongside new nuclear capacity additions.

MTAR Technologies Nuclear Sector Outlook

MTAR Technologies has established capabilities in precision engineering and manufacturing for sectors including nuclear, clean energy, space and defence. The company’s expanding nuclear order book indicates that the civil nuclear business is becoming an increasingly important component of its overall order pipeline.

With the latest ₹126.74 crore order from NPCIL and a nuclear order book exceeding ₹775 crore, investors will be watching the company’s execution pace, future order inflows and the contribution of the nuclear business to revenue and profitability.
