Jindal Mobilitric Targets 100 EV Showrooms by FY28, Plans 40 by FY27

Jindal Mobilitric Private Limited, the electric mobility subsidiary of Jindal Worldwide Limited, has announced plans to significantly expand its retail presence across India, targeting approximately 100 EV showrooms by the end of FY28.

The company aims to establish around 40 showrooms by the end of FY27, with the remaining network to be rolled out during FY28.

100-Showroom Nationwide Expansion

The planned retail expansion is a key part of Jindal Mobilitric’s strategy to strengthen its presence in India’s growing electric mobility market.

The company currently has 2 operational showrooms, located in Srinagar and Jaipur, and plans to scale the network to:

  • Current: 2 operational showrooms
  • FY27: Approximately 40 showrooms
  • FY28: Approximately 100 showrooms

Dealer Network Already at 52

Alongside showroom expansion, Jindal Mobilitric has already appointed 52 dealers across India.

The expanding dealer network is expected to support wider market penetration across urban and semi-urban markets and provide a distribution base for the company’s EV products.

Manufacturing Operations Already Underway

The company’s Ahmedabad manufacturing facility is already operational, with commercial production having commenced.

This is an important execution milestone because the company is moving beyond the planning stage and has already begun establishing its manufacturing, showroom and dealership infrastructure.

Investor Takeaway

For investors, the key points are the company’s 100-showroom FY28 target, approximately 40-showroom FY27 target, 52 dealers already appointed and operational manufacturing facility.

The expansion provides a clear roadmap for Jindal Mobilitric’s entry and growth in the electric mobility market. However, the showroom targets are forward-looking plans, and investors will need to monitor actual showroom additions, vehicle sales, dealer expansion and financial performance as the rollout progresses.

The announcement is therefore primarily a growth and business expansion update, with the successful execution of the planned retail network being the key factor to watch.
