Endurance Technologies Acquires 60% Stake in Germany’s Stöferle Group for €37.74 Million

Endurance Technologies Acquires 60% Stake in Germany’s Stöferle Group for €37.74 Million

On April 2, 2025, Endurance Technologies Limited announced the successful completion of its acquisition of a 60% stake in Stöferle GmbH and Stöferle Automotive GmbH, based in Germany. This strategic move, executed through its subsidiary, Endurance Overseas SpA (EOSpA), involved a transaction valued at €37.74 million.

The acquisition process commenced on December 12, 2024, when EOSpA signed a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire the majority stake in the two companies. The completion was contingent upon receiving necessary approvals from antitrust authorities in Germany, Romania, and Poland, which have now been secured.

Stöferle GmbH and Stöferle Automotive GmbH specialize in manufacturing machined aluminum die castings for engine and transmission components in the automotive industry. In the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023, Stöferle Automotive GmbH reported a turnover of €72.1 million, while Stöferle GmbH achieved €17.2 million.

This acquisition aligns with Endurance Technologies’ strategy to diversify its customer portfolio and strengthen its presence in the European automotive components market. By integrating Stöferle’s expertise and established client relationships, Endurance aims to enhance its product offerings and operational footprint in Europe.

The SPA also includes call and put options for acquiring the remaining 40% stake in the target companies, exercisable over a period of five years starting from June 2026.

This strategic move is expected to bolster Endurance Technologies’ capabilities in the automotive components sector and contribute to its long-term growth objectives.
