Unimech Aerospace Expands Precision Engineering Facility at Bengaluru Aerospace Park

Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited has announced a major expansion of its Precision Engineering Facility (Unit 3) at the KIADB Aerospace Park, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The update was shared on December 29, 2025, and reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to scale up manufacturing capacity in line with its long-term growth strategy.

Significant Increase in Manufacturing Capacity

Before the expansion, Unit 3 had a built-up area of around 33,000 square feet. The company has now added an additional 62,000 square feet, taking the total built-up area to approximately 95,000 square feet.

This nearly three-fold increase in facility size significantly strengthens Unimech’s manufacturing footprint.

Focus on High-Precision Engineering

The expanded facility will be used for the manufacturing and assembly of high-precision components. These components are supplied to critical and highly regulated industries such as:

  • Aerospace

  • Nuclear

  • Oil & Gas

  • Other allied industrial sectors

These industries demand extreme accuracy, advanced machining capabilities, and strict quality standards—areas where Unimech specializes.
