BikeWo Signs MoU with Hala Mobility for EV Fleet Deployment; Targets 10,000 Vehicles in Three Years

Hyderabad, August 13, 2026: BikeWo Green Tech Limited has announced a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hala Mobility to explore the deployment and management of electric vehicle (EV) fleets.

Under the proposed partnership, the companies plan to begin with approximately 1,000 electric vehicles in Phase I, with an ambitious roadmap to potentially scale the deployment to around 10,000 EVs over the next three years.

The development marks another step in BikeWo’s strategy to build an integrated electric mobility and logistics platform.

BikeWo and Hala Mobility Partnership

The proposed collaboration combines BikeWo’s capabilities in electric mobility and fleet operations with Hala Mobility’s presence in the broader mobility ecosystem.

The initial 1,000-vehicle deployment is intended to establish a scalable operating model covering:

  • EV deployment
  • Fleet utilisation
  • Vehicle management
  • Fleet operations
  • Maintenance and servicing
  • Related operational requirements

The companies plan to use the experience and operational data generated during the initial phase to determine the pace and scope of subsequent expansion.

Importantly, the proposed 10,000-vehicle target is dependent on the outcome of the initial deployment, commercial viability and mutually agreed arrangements between the two companies.

Potential Scale-Up to 10,000 Electric Vehicles

The most significant aspect of the announcement is the potential scale-up from approximately 1,000 vehicles initially to around 10,000 vehicles over three years.

If successfully implemented, such an expansion could significantly increase the scale of BikeWo’s fleet operations and strengthen its position in India’s growing EV mobility ecosystem.

However, investors should note that the 10,000-vehicle figure is currently a strategic objective rather than a confirmed order or firm deployment commitment.

The company has explicitly stated that the MoU is non-binding and that specific deployments and commercial commitments will require definitive agreements and applicable approvals.

Partnership Could Expand Beyond EV Deployment

The proposed relationship is not limited to putting electric vehicles on the road.

BikeWo and Hala Mobility intend to explore opportunities across several parts of the EV ecosystem, including:

Area Potential Opportunity
EV Fleet Deployment Deployment and utilisation of electric vehicles
Vehicle Leasing Rental and leasing models
Fleet Management Technology-enabled fleet operations
Charging Infrastructure Development of EV charging capabilities
Energy Solutions Supporting EV energy requirements
Technology Platforms Digital tools for mobility operations
Maintenance Vehicle servicing and lifecycle support
Enterprise Mobility EV solutions for businesses
Logistics Electric mobility for logistics applications

The broader approach could allow the companies to participate across multiple layers of the EV and mobility value chain rather than focusing solely on vehicle deployment.

CEO Highlights Importance of Fleet Management

Commenting on the development, Hiten Pal Saklani, CEO of BikeWo Green Tech Limited, said the partnership is aimed at building capabilities around EV deployment, utilisation, maintenance, technology and fleet management.

According to the company, starting with approximately 1,000 vehicles will provide an opportunity to establish the operational foundation, while the proposed roadmap toward around 10,000 vehicles reflects the potential identified in the partnership.

This suggests that BikeWo is looking beyond simply supplying or deploying EVs and is attempting to develop an integrated fleet-management model.

Part of BikeWo’s Integrated Mobility Strategy

The MoU fits into BikeWo’s broader strategy of developing an integrated mobility and logistics platform.

The company says it is building capabilities across:

  • Electric mobility
  • Fleet operations
  • Vehicle leasing
  • Servicing and maintenance
  • Energy infrastructure
  • Logistics
  • Technology-enabled mobility solutions

BikeWo is also pursuing strategic partnerships and acquisitions to expand its presence across the mobility value chain.

This strategy could potentially allow the company to generate multiple revenue streams from the broader EV ecosystem.

Who is Hala Mobility?

Hala Mobility Private Limited is a Hyderabad-based EV-as-a-Service platform focused on electric mobility solutions for last-mile delivery, gig-economy riders and fleet operators.

According to the press release, Hala Mobility provides electric vehicles through rental, leasing, and other deployment models and currently operates across nine cities.

Its existing focus on last-mile and fleet-based electric mobility provides a potential operational fit with BikeWo’s EV deployment strategy.

What This Means for BikeWo Green Tech

The announcement potentially strengthens BikeWo’s positioning in India’s rapidly developing electric mobility ecosystem.

The immediate opportunity is the proposed 1,000-EV deployment. More importantly, successful execution of the first phase could provide the foundation for a much larger fleet operation.

The company is also attempting to create an integrated platform rather than concentrating on a single EV-related business. Its strategy covers vehicles, fleet operations, leasing, servicing, energy infrastructure, logistics and technology.

This broader ecosystem approach could become important as India’s EV adoption expands across last-mile delivery, commercial mobility and enterprise transportation.

Important Investor Point: MoU Is Non-Binding

While the headline “10,000 EVs over three years” is significant, investors should carefully distinguish between a strategic target and a confirmed business order.

BikeWo has clearly stated that:

  • The MoU is non-binding.
  • The proposed vehicle numbers are indicative business objectives.
  • Actual deployment will depend on the initial phase.
  • Commercial commitments will require definitive agreements.
  • Applicable approvals and customary conditions will also apply.

Therefore, the announcement should currently be viewed as a potential future business opportunity, rather than ₹ value revenue already secured.
