This strategic acquisition underlines GPL’s aggressive growth trajectory, particularly in high-potential urban corridors. The 4.95-acre (20,050 sq. m.) plot is earmarked for a premium residential group housing project, anticipated to generate estimated revenues exceeding INR 2,000 crore. This move follows close on the heels of another major land acquisition in Greater Noida earlier this month, a 23.2-acre parcel with an estimated revenue potential of over INR 7,000 crore, signaling a concerted effort to capitalize on the region’s burgeoning housing demand.
The newly acquired Noida plot boasts a strategic location, offering excellent connectivity to the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway and convenient access to the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar. The surrounding area is also slated for robust infrastructure development, including educational and healthcare facilities, enhancing its appeal.
Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO, Godrej Properties, commented on the acquisition, stating, “Building on the consistent demand witnessed for our existing developments in the region, we remain confident in the strength of this market. This project will further enhance our development portfolio in the National Capital Region and aligns seamlessly with our strategy of deepening our presence in key micro-markets across India’s leading cities.”
This latest expansion positions Godrej Properties to tap into the robust residential demand, offering diverse premium apartment configurations and reinforcing its reputation as a leading developer committed to crafting thriving communities.
