Aimtron Electronics US Subsidiary Bags US$11.8 Million Orders in Q2, Adds 5 New Customers

Aimtron Electronics US Subsidiary Bags US$11.8 Million Orders in Q2, Adds 5 New Customers

Aimtron Electronics Limited has announced a strong order-booking milestone for its US operations, with its step-down subsidiary Aimtron International Controls LLC (AIC) securing US$11.8 million in order bookings during the current quarter as of September 17, 2026.

The company said the quarter is still underway, meaning additional orders could be booked before the quarter closes.

The latest order bookings are more than twice the historical quarterly average of the acquired business, which previously operated as ICS and had historically recorded average quarterly order bookings of less than US$4 million.

AIC Order Bookings Cross US$11.8 Million

AIC began operations under the Aimtron Group on February 1, 2026, following the acquisition of the business previously known as ICS.

According to Aimtron Electronics, AIC has already secured more than US$11.8 million in order bookings during the current quarter.

Compared with the acquired business’s historical quarterly average of less than US$4 million, the latest booking level represents a significant increase in quarterly order activity.

Key Highlights

  • Current-quarter order bookings: US$11.8 million
  • Historical quarterly average: Less than US$4 million
  • New customers added: 5
  • Business: Aimtron International Controls LLC
  • Operations under AIC: Started February 1, 2026
  • Primary demand: Ruggedized electronics customers
  • Facility: More than 60,000 sq ft
  • Site: 4 acres
  • SMT lines: 4

Ruggedized Electronics Drives Order Bookings

Aimtron said the latest order bookings were driven primarily by customers in ruggedized electronics, including programmes involving electronics designed for demanding operating environments.

The company also added five new customers during the quarter, expanding AIC’s customer base.

The combination of higher order bookings and new customer additions provides greater visibility into potential future manufacturing activity.

Aimtron Builds US Manufacturing Business

The latest development follows Aimtron’s acquisition of the business previously operating as ICS.

The acquired operation brings more than 25 years of operating experience, established customer relationships and electronics manufacturing capabilities.

Aimtron said it is building on this existing foundation by leveraging its broader engineering, sourcing, manufacturing and customer-development capabilities.

AIC operates a manufacturing facility of more than 60,000 square feet on a four-acre site. The facility has four SMT lines and space for future expansion.

Aimtron 2.0 Strategy

The development is part of Aimtron’s broader Aimtron 2.0 growth strategy, which includes building an integrated India-US manufacturing platform.

The company sees its US operations as an important part of the strategy, allowing it to provide closer customer engagement and local manufacturing capabilities while leveraging its broader global engineering and manufacturing resources.

Management Commentary

Mukesh Vasani, Chairman of Aimtron Electronics, said the acquired ICS business had built a strong foundation over more than 25 years.

He highlighted the US$11.8 million quarterly order bookings compared with the historical quarterly average of less than US$4 million, along with the addition of five new customers, as an important milestone for the business under Aimtron ownership.

The company’s focus now is on executing the orders with quality and timely delivery while developing long-term customer relationships.

Order Bookings Are Not Revenue

Investors should note that order bookings do not represent revenue recognised during the quarter.

The US$11.8 million represents customer orders received by AIC. Actual revenue recognition will depend on execution, delivery schedules and applicable accounting requirements.

Therefore, the latest order-booking figure provides visibility into potential future manufacturing activity but should not be treated as equivalent to current-quarter revenue or profit.

What This Means for Aimtron Electronics

The latest announcement is significant because AIC’s current-quarter bookings have already exceeded twice the historical quarterly average of the acquired business.

The addition of five customers also indicates an expansion of the customer base following the acquisition.

For investors tracking Aimtron Electronics, the key factors to monitor going forward will be order execution, conversion of bookings into revenue, customer additions, capacity utilisation at the US facility and the financial contribution from AIC.
