Blue Cloud Softech Wins ₹147 Crore IBM Cloud AI Infrastructure Order

Blue Cloud Softech Wins ₹147 Crore IBM Cloud AI Infrastructure Order

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited has secured a US$15.5 million fixed-fee order from IBM Cloud Inc. for AI infrastructure design, deployment and support services.

The contract, worth approximately ₹147 crore, has been awarded to Blue Cloud’s wholly owned US subsidiary Global Impx Inc. (GIX).

According to the company’s stock-exchange disclosure, the signed Statement of Work was received by Blue Cloud on September 24, 2026, and work has already commenced.

Blue Cloud Gets $15.5 Million IBM Cloud Order

Global Impx has received the order from IBM Cloud Inc. under a Master Services Agreement dated August 21, 2026.

The key details are:

  • Client: IBM Cloud Inc.
  • Executing company: Global Impx Inc., USA
  • Parent: Blue Cloud Softech Solutions
  • Order value: US$15.5 million
  • Approximate value: ₹147 crore
  • Contract type: Fixed-fee Statement of Work
  • Nature of work: AI infrastructure design, deployment, configuration, integration, testing and support
  • Market: International — USA
  • Project location: New Jersey, USA
  • Work commencement: September 24, 2026
  • Payment: Five project milestones

The company has stated that the order is not a related-party transaction, and neither the promoter group nor group companies have any interest in IBM Cloud.

What Will Global Impx Build?

Under the engagement, Global Impx will design, build and support an AI infrastructure environment for enterprise AI and machine-learning workloads.

The project covers infrastructure required for activities including:

  • Model development
  • AI model training
  • Fine-tuning
  • Model inference
  • GPU computing
  • High-performance storage
  • High-speed networking
  • AI/ML platforms
  • Kubernetes-based orchestration

The project also includes security, monitoring, backup and disaster-recovery capabilities.

Four-Stage AI Infrastructure Project

According to Blue Cloud’s announcement, the engagement will be delivered across four broad stages.

1. Design

Global Impx will assess the client’s AI workloads and existing infrastructure before developing the high-level architecture and detailed design.

2. Build

The company will deploy GPU compute clusters, high-performance storage and networking infrastructure, along with AI/ML platforms and Kubernetes-based orchestration.

3. Secure and Operate

The project includes identity and access controls, network segmentation, encryption, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery.

4. Validate and Handover

The final stage includes performance testing, documentation, knowledge transfer and production handover.

This will be followed by a 30-day stabilisation and support period, according to the regulatory disclosure.

Project Includes Defined Service Levels

The contract also includes specified service-level requirements.

Blue Cloud said the project provides for:

  • At least 99.5% infrastructure and GPU availability
  • Critical alerts within 15 minutes
  • Response to critical incidents within 30 minutes

These requirements indicate that the engagement covers not only deployment but also operational support and performance monitoring.

Work Has Already Started

Unlike an order that is still awaiting commencement, Blue Cloud has stated that work began on September 24, 2026.

The fees will be paid against five project milestones, running from project kick-off through production go-live.

The final completion timeline will follow the client-approved project plan, followed by the 30-day stabilisation and support period.

Global Impx Acquisition: Order Within Three Months

One of the notable aspects of the announcement is the timing.

Global Impx became a wholly owned subsidiary of Blue Cloud in June 2026. The company said the IBM Cloud engagement comes within approximately three months of GIX joining the Blue Cloud group.

Blue Cloud has described the contract as an early business opportunity arising from its US platform.

For investors, the subsequent financial disclosures will be important to determine how much revenue and profitability this contract contributes to the consolidated business.

Blue Cloud’s US AI Infrastructure Business

The IBM Cloud contract expands Blue Cloud’s disclosed activity in the US AI infrastructure market.

The company said Global Impx provides AI infrastructure, data centre and technology services to enterprise clients in the United States.

The latest project involves a production-oriented AI infrastructure environment rather than only software development. The scope covers the complete cycle from infrastructure design and deployment through security, validation and support.

What Investors Should Track

The headline ₹147 crore order value is significant, but investors should also track how the project translates into financial performance.

Key points to watch include:

  • Revenue recognised from the IBM Cloud contract
  • Progress against the five payment milestones
  • Project execution and production go-live
  • Profit margins on the fixed-fee contract
  • Costs associated with GPU infrastructure and deployment
  • Working-capital requirements
  • Additional contracts secured by Global Impx
  • Growth of Blue Cloud’s US AI infrastructure business

Because this is a fixed-fee contract, project execution costs and delivery efficiency will be relevant to the eventual profitability of the engagement.

Blue Cloud Softech Financial Scale

Blue Cloud stated in its press release that it reported consolidated revenue of ₹1,002 crore for FY2025-26.

Against that reported annual revenue figure, the announced IBM Cloud contract has a headline value of approximately ₹147 crore. However, the contract value should not be treated as equivalent to incremental annual revenue or profit because the project is executed over its contractual timeline and accounting recognition depends on applicable revenue-recognition rules.

Management Commentary

Blue Cloud Group Chairman Tejesh Kumar Kodali said the IBM Cloud mandate demonstrates the company’s ability to compete for AI infrastructure work in the US market.

Group CEO and Managing Director Vinod Babu Bollikonda said the company’s teams had already mobilised and would execute the project against defined milestones and service levels.

These are management statements and should be considered alongside the company’s subsequent execution and financial disclosures.

Bottom Line

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions has secured a US$15.5 million (approximately ₹147 crore) fixed-fee AI infrastructure order from IBM Cloud Inc.

The order will be executed by Global Impx Inc., Blue Cloud’s wholly owned US subsidiary, and involves the design, deployment, configuration, integration, testing and support of a GPU-powered enterprise AI infrastructure environment in New Jersey, USA.

Work commenced on September 24, 2026, with payments linked to five project milestones.

The development is particularly relevant because the contract comes within about three months of Global Impx becoming part of the Blue Cloud group. The key factor going forward will be the company’s ability to execute the project, recognise revenue and maintain margins while converting the US AI infrastructure opportunity into additional business.
