KPIL Wins ₹2,025 Crore Orders Across Power, Buildings and Oil & Gas

KPIL Wins ₹2,025 Crore Orders Across Power, Buildings and Oil & Gas

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has secured new orders and notifications of awards worth approximately ₹2,025 crore across its power transmission, buildings and factories, and oil & gas businesses.

The contracts have been secured across Indian and international markets, adding to the company’s order pipeline as it expands across multiple infrastructure segments.

Orders Cover Three Key Businesses

KPIL said the latest order wins include projects in:

  • Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D)
  • Buildings & Factories (B&F)
  • Oil & Gas

The company has not disclosed individual contract values or detailed project scopes for these awards in the announcement.

FY27 Order Wins Reach ₹13,219 Crore

With the latest contracts, KPIL’s FY27 year-to-date order intake has reached ₹13,219 crore. The company has also said it is favourably placed or L1 for additional orders exceeding ₹12,000 crore.

Importantly, the ₹12,000 crore figure represents orders where KPIL is favourably placed/L1 and should not be treated as confirmed order wins.

KPIL had set a ₹30,000 crore FY27 order-inflow target, according to Business Standard. Its FY26 order book stood at ₹65,457 crore.

Order Momentum Remains Diversified

The latest wins are spread across three business verticals rather than being concentrated in a single segment. This includes the company’s core power transmission and distribution business as well as buildings and factories and oil & gas.

For investors, the key factors to track will now be execution of the new contracts, conversion of L1 opportunities into confirmed orders and the pace of further order inflows.

What Investors Should Track

  • FY27 order inflow versus the ₹30,000 crore target
  • Conversion of ₹12,000+ crore L1/favourably placed orders
  • Order book growth and execution
  • T&D order inflows in domestic and overseas markets
  • Margin performance across new projects
  • Revenue growth from the expanding order pipeline

Bottom Line

KPIL’s latest ₹2,025 crore order win takes its FY27 order intake to ₹13,219 crore, while the company continues to have more than ₹12,000 crore of L1/favourably placed opportunities. The next important trigger will be execution and conversion of the additional pipeline into confirmed orders.
