Marine Electricals Bags ₹229.73 Crore Orders From Digital Edge DC for Power Distribution Systems

Marine Electricals (India) Limited has secured orders worth ₹229.73 crore, excluding taxes, from Digital Edge DC (India) Private Limited for the supply of power distribution systems.

The company disclosed the development to the stock exchanges on September 1, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.

₹229.73 Crore Order From Digital Edge DC

Marine Electricals has received orders aggregating ₹229.73 crore from Digital Edge DC (India) Private Limited.

The orders relate to the supply of power distribution systems, strengthening Marine Electricals’ order pipeline in the electrical and power infrastructure segment.

The announced order value is excluding applicable taxes.

15-Month Execution Period

According to the company, delivery of the ordered goods is scheduled to be completed over a period of 15 months.

The multi-quarter execution timeline provides Marine Electricals with visibility for revenue generation from the order and adds to its order book.

Investors will be watching the pace of execution and conversion of the order into revenue over the coming quarters.

Data Centre Infrastructure Opportunity

The order from Digital Edge DC is particularly relevant because power distribution infrastructure is a critical requirement for data centres.

As data-centre capacity expands, demand for reliable electrical distribution, power management and associated infrastructure is also expected to increase.

Marine Electricals’ order therefore provides exposure to the continuing investment in digital infrastructure and data-centre capacity.

No Related-Party Transaction

Marine Electricals stated that none of its promoters or promoter group members have any interest in the contract.

The order does not fall under related-party transactions, according to the company’s disclosure.

Investor Takeaway

The ₹229.73 crore order is a material development for Marine Electricals because of its size and the 15-month execution period.

The contract provides additional revenue visibility and strengthens the company’s presence in power distribution infrastructure. The Digital Edge DC order also fits into the broader opportunity arising from the expansion of data-centre infrastructure.

For investors, the key factors to monitor will be order execution, revenue recognition, margins and the company’s ability to secure additional data-centre and power infrastructure orders.

Marine Electricals’ ₹229.73 crore order win is a meaningful positive development for the company. With execution spread over 15 months, the contract could support revenue visibility across multiple quarters while strengthening Marine Electricals’ position in the growing power and data-centre infrastructure market.
