PTC Industries’ Aerolloy Signs Landmark Airbus Agreement for Titanium Castings Across A320neo, A330neo and A350 Programmes

PTC Industries Limited has announced a major milestone for its aerospace business, with its wholly owned subsidiary Aerolloy Technologies Limited signing a landmark agreement with Airbus for the development, production, and supply of titanium castings for the A320neo, A330neo, and A350 aircraft programmes. The announcement marks a significant step in strengthening India’s role in the global aerospace manufacturing supply chain.

Landmark Partnership with Airbus

Under the agreement, Aerolloy Technologies will develop, qualify, manufacture, and supply fully machined, ready-to-fit titanium castings for Airbus commercial aircraft. The programme covers three of Airbus’ most successful aircraft families:

  • Airbus A320neo
  • Airbus A330neo
  • Airbus A350

The agreement establishes the pathway for Aerolloy to progress from product development and qualification to serial production, subject to Airbus’ qualification requirements.

Integrated Manufacturing Capability

One of the key highlights of the agreement is Aerolloy’s ability to manufacture components through a completely integrated process. Rather than supplying only castings, the company will handle the entire manufacturing chain, including:

  • Titanium material production
  • Titanium alloy manufacturing
  • Precision titanium casting
  • Machining
  • Inspection and quality assurance
  • Delivery of fully machined, ready-to-fit aerospace components

This integrated manufacturing model enables better quality control, traceability, and supply chain reliability while moving Aerolloy higher up the aerospace value chain.

Strengthening the “PTC ONE™ – From Melt to Mission™” Strategy

The Airbus agreement is a significant validation of PTC Industries’ integrated manufacturing strategy, branded as PTC ONE™ – From Melt to Mission™.

The model combines metallurgy, material production, precision casting, machining, inspection, and aerospace execution within a single manufacturing ecosystem. According to the company, this capability differentiates Aerolloy from conventional casting suppliers and demonstrates its ability to meet the stringent standards of global aerospace manufacturers.

A Major Step for India’s Aerospace Industry

The agreement also supports the Government of India’s “Make in India, Make for the World” initiative by enabling the production of advanced titanium aerospace components within India for global commercial aircraft programmes.

It reinforces India’s growing reputation as a supplier of mission-critical aerospace materials and high-precision engineering products for international aviation markets.

Management Commentary

Commenting on the development, Sachin Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director of PTC Industries, described the Airbus agreement as a landmark achievement for both Aerolloy Technologies and PTC Industries.

He noted that Airbus represents one of the highest standards in global commercial aerospace and said the agreement validates the integrated manufacturing capabilities developed by the company. He added that manufacturing components from in-house titanium material through to fully machined aerospace parts demonstrates the success of the company’s “From Melt to Mission™” strategy and positions Aerolloy deeper within the global aerospace value chain.

Strategic Significance for Investors

The Airbus agreement represents more than a new customer contract. It signifies:

  • Entry into higher-value aerospace manufacturing
  • Expansion within the global commercial aircraft supply chain
  • Validation of PTC Industries’ long-term investments in titanium materials and advanced manufacturing
  • Greater opportunities in aerospace, defence, and space sectors
  • Enhanced long-term revenue potential through serial production

The development further strengthens PTC Industries’ positioning as an integrated advanced manufacturing company serving high-value engineering markets.
