Tantia Constructions Secures Passenger Ropeway Contract in Shillong

Tantia Constructions Limited (TCL), in a consortium with a third party, has been awarded a significant contract by the Directorate of Tourism, Shillong, Meghalaya.

The total contract value is Rs. 151 Crores, with TCL holding a 60% share in the consortium.
The project involves the design, supply, construction, and operation and maintenance of a passenger ropeway at Shillong Peak, Meghalaya, under the EPC mode.
TCL emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1) for this prestigious project.
The contract was awarded on December 3, 2024, with formal disclosure made to the BSE and NSE on December 5, 2024, in compliance with SEBI’s Regulation 30 for Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (2015).

This milestone underscores TCL’s expertise in infrastructure projects and its commitment to sustainable tourism development.
