  • Healthy adjusted EBITDA despite increased investments

Management stated that EBITDA margins were impacted by planned investments in cloud infrastructure, telecom networks, AI capabilities, and sales expansion, but expressed confidence that margins would improve in the coming quarters.

AI Becoming a Major Growth Driver

Pine Labs continues to accelerate its AI strategy across multiple business segments.

Some of the major developments include:

  • Launch of SignalIQ, an AI-powered data platform helping banks improve credit underwriting.
  • Successful rollout of Credit on UPI solutions with J&K Bank.
  • Development of India’s first end-to-end agentic payment transaction, where AI agents completed an entire payment workflow autonomously.
  • Growing use of AI in customer support, terminal management, and merchant services.

Management believes AI will play a significant role in the future of payments by combining payment processing with intelligent data analysis.

International Business Continues to Expand

Pine Labs highlighted strong momentum in international markets.

Key achievements include:

  • Becoming the largest installment payments provider in Malaysia
  • Expanding installment payment services across Singapore
  • Preparing launches in Dubai
  • Partnering with major global merchants including British Airways and leading restaurant chains
  • Deploying software-driven payment solutions across several international markets

The company stated that international expansion remains a long-term growth opportunity despite temporary fluctuations in quarterly volumes.

Online Payments Business Gains Momentum

Management noted strong traction in online payment processing.

Recent merchant additions include:

  • IRCTC
  • Zepto
  • Reliance Digital
