Renaissance Global Expands U.S. Retail Presence with Third Jean Dousset Store in San Francisco

Renaissance Global Limited (BSE: 532923, NSE: RGL) has strengthened its direct-to-consumer (D2C) presence in the United States with the opening of the third retail store for its ultra-luxury diamond jewelry brand, Jean Dousset, in San Francisco, California. The new store, inaugurated on July 29, 2026, marks another milestone in the company’s strategy to build an omnichannel luxury retail business in North America.

Third U.S. Store Opens in San Francisco

The San Francisco outlet represents the latest addition to the Jean Dousset retail network and reflects the company’s transition from a predominantly digital luxury brand to an integrated online and offline retail model.

The expansion follows encouraging customer response across the U.S. market, prompting Renaissance Global to accelerate its physical retail strategy.

Expansion Plan Increased to Seven Stores by FY27

Buoyed by growing demand, the company has revised its U.S. expansion roadmap. Instead of adding three new stores as initially planned, Renaissance Global now intends to open four additional locations in key luxury markets:

  • Washington, D.C.
  • Boston
  • Chicago
  • Dallas

With these additions, the Jean Dousset brand is expected to operate seven retail stores across the United States by the end of FY27, significantly expanding its presence in one of the world’s largest luxury jewelry markets.

Strong Revenue Potential from Retail Expansion

Renaissance Global expects each mature Jean Dousset store to generate annual revenue of approximately ₹20 crore to ₹25 crore.

The planned expansion of the retail network is projected to contribute an additional ₹100 crore to ₹125 crore in direct-to-consumer revenue once the new stores reach stable operations. The initiative is a key component of the company’s long-term objective of building a ₹1,000 crore D2C business by FY29.

Strengthening the Direct-to-Consumer Business

Jean Dousset is one of Renaissance Global’s premium owned brands and was founded by the great-great-grandson of Louis Cartier. The brand complements the company’s broader portfolio, which includes With Clarity, Everyday Elegance, AirAsia, and Jewelili.

By expanding its physical retail footprint, Renaissance Global aims to combine its expertise in jewelry design, sourcing, and manufacturing with enhanced customer engagement through branded retail stores. This omnichannel strategy is expected to improve brand visibility, strengthen customer relationships, and support long-term profitability.

Management Commentary

Commenting on the launch, Sumit Shah, Global CEO of Renaissance Global Limited, said the opening of the San Francisco store marks an important step in creating a scalable luxury retail network across the United States. He added that the company remains focused on expanding in high-potential markets while building globally recognized jewelry brands through its integrated direct-to-consumer strategy.
