Hero Motor Dispatches 5.33 Lakh Units in July 2026, Posts 19% YoY Growth

Hero MotoCorp Limited, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, reported a robust performance for July 2026, with total dispatches rising to 5,33,416 units, registering a 19% year-on-year (YoY) growth from 4,49,755 units in July 2025. The strong performance was driven by healthy domestic demand, steady growth in the electric vehicle segment, and continued international expansion.

Strong Domestic Demand Drives Growth

Hero MotoCorp’s domestic internal combustion engine (ICE) business remained the primary growth driver during the month.

Key highlights include:

  • Total Dispatches: 5,33,416 units, up 19% YoY.
  • Domestic ICE Dispatches: 4,78,689 units, compared with 4,01,171 units in July 2025, reflecting nearly 19% growth.
  • Motorcycle Dispatches: Increased to 4,68,565 units from 4,00,615 units in the year-ago period.
  • Scooter Dispatches: Rose to 64,851 units, up from 49,140 units in July 2025.

The company continued to witness strong customer demand across its popular motorcycle portfolio, including Splendor, Passion, Glamour X, and Super Splendor XTEC 2.0. The scooter business also maintained healthy momentum, supported by the Destini and Xoom range.

VIDA EV Business Expands Internationally

Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand VIDA continued to strengthen its presence during the month.

  • VIDA Dispatches: 22,714 units in July 2026.
  • Expanded operations into Nepal.
  • Introduced its refreshed brand identity under the “ROOM” platform.
  • Launched a new 4.4 kWh battery variant, enhancing product offerings in the premium electric scooter segment.

International Business Continues to Grow

Hero MotoCorp also expanded its global footprint during July.

  • International Dispatches: 32,013 units.
  • Entered Ecuador and Germany, increasing its international presence to 53 countries.

The company’s continued expansion into new overseas markets reflects its strategy of diversifying revenue streams while strengthening its global brand.

Expanding Manufacturing and Parts Infrastructure

As part of its long-term growth strategy, Hero MotoCorp laid the foundation stone for its second Global Parts Center (GPC) at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The new facility will serve both domestic and export markets by improving spare parts distribution and logistics.

The center will also support future production expansion at the Tirupati manufacturing facility, where the company’s entire electric vehicle portfolio is designed, engineered, and manufactured.
