Gabriel India Partners with South Korea’s HL Klemove in ₹935 Crore Autonomous Driving and ADAS Joint Venture

Gabriel India Limited has announced a strategic partnership with South Korea-based HL Klemove to strengthen its presence in autonomous driving, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and automotive electronics. The company disclosed the development on August 26, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.

As part of the transaction, Gabriel India will acquire 30% less one share of the total paid-up share capital of HL Klemove India Private Limited by purchasing 3,78,44,999 equity shares from HL Klemove Corp., South Korea. The acquisition is valued at US$98.44 million, or approximately ₹935 crore.

Gabriel India Enters High-Growth Autonomous Driving Segment

The joint venture represents a major step in Gabriel India’s strategy to diversify beyond its traditional ride-control products and participate in technology-driven automotive segments. Through HL Klemove India, the company will gain exposure to the rapidly expanding market for autonomous driving solutions, ADAS, and automotive electronic systems.

HL Klemove has established capabilities across the autonomous driving technology value chain, covering perception, decision-making and vehicle control. Its technology portfolio includes radar systems, cameras, high-performance computing platforms, control units and ADAS software.

The partnership is expected to help Gabriel India deepen its engagement with automotive OEMs while expanding its presence in future mobility technologies.

₹935 Crore Investment in HL Klemove India

Gabriel India will invest approximately ₹935 crore to acquire its strategic stake in HL Klemove India. The company will acquire 3,78,44,999 equity shares, representing 30% less one share of the target company’s paid-up share capital.

The investment provides Gabriel India with a significant strategic position in a technology-focused automotive business while allowing it to participate in the growth of autonomous driving and automotive electronics in India.

Products to Include Radar, Cameras, LiDAR and ADAS Systems

Under the partnership, HL Klemove India will develop, manufacture and sell a broad range of advanced mobility and automotive electronic products.
