HG Infra Engineering Gets Completion Certificate for ₹1,393 Crore Delhi Road Project

HG Infra Engineering Gets Completion Certificate for ₹1,393 Crore Delhi Road Project

H.G. Infra Engineering Ltd (HGINFRA) has received the completion certificate for its ₹1,393.11 crore Urban Extension Road (UER)-II Package 1 project in Delhi, marking the formal completion of a major road infrastructure project awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The completion certificate was issued by the Authority Engineer on September 23, 2026. The project had already been declared fit for commercial operation on February 28, 2025.

HGINFRA Stock Rises 12.66%

Following the announcement, H.G. Infra Engineering shares were trading at ₹507.75, up 12.66% or ₹57.05 in today’s session, based on the market price update.

The sharp move puts the stock’s market reaction in focus, although the completion certificate relates to a project that had already entered commercial operation in February 2025. Therefore, the announcement should be viewed primarily as a formal project-completion update, rather than a fresh ₹1,393 crore order win.

₹1,393 Crore Delhi Road Project

The project involved the development of a six-lane Urban Extension Road (UER)-II, NH-344M, Package 1, covering the stretch from NH-1 to Karala-Kanjhawala Road in Delhi.

The project was awarded on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis, with an appointed date of October 28, 2021 and completion achieved on February 28, 2025.

What Investors Should Track

The completion certificate provides formal closure of the project and confirms that the project was completed as scheduled.

For investors tracking H.G. Infra, the more important factors going forward are new order inflows, order book growth, execution, margins and cash flows.

The company continues to have a broader portfolio of infrastructure projects, making fresh order wins and execution progress key areas to watch.
