Mumbai, March 7, 2025: J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited has been awarded a major infrastructure contract from Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited (MRVC), a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways. The company disclosed this development under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Key Details of the Contract:

  • Project Name: Construction of major railway infrastructure under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP) – Phase IIIA.
  • Scope of Work: Includes the construction of major bridges (Br. 66, 72 & 78), a Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Vasai, a Vehicle Subway (Br. 71), minor bridges (Br. 79, 79A), drainage systems, and earthwork formation between Borivali and Nallasopara stations.
  • Contract Value:120.87 crore (inclusive of GST).
  • Completion Timeline: 30 months from the date of commencement.
  • Awarding Entity: Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited (MRVC).

This project is part of the Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP) – Phase IIIA, aimed at upgrading suburban railway infrastructure in the Mumbai metropolitan region. The addition of the 5th and 6th railway lines between Borivali and Virar is expected to ease congestion and improve connectivity.
