NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Navratna PSU NLC India Limited, has announced a landmark Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) with OREDA Ltd. Signed on June 23, 2026, the JVA solidifies NLCIL’s commitment to India’s “Viksit Bharat” vision and its Net Zero Carbon goals. The initial phase focuses on the establishment, operation, and maintenance of 1000 MW green energy plants across Odisha. However, this partnership extends far beyond, envisioning the development of a comprehensive green energy ecosystem that includes forward and backward integration of various technologies.
